Knowing how it’s like to be unwanted ever since his first breath, Akio holds no hope for anyone—except his lover whom he regards as a savior and decided to devote his whole life for. He sees people only as a means of reaching his goal by getting on their good side, so the face and attitude he wears are always the pleasant ones. Akio is calm; cold-headed. Most of the time he’s willing to step back in order to get a wider perspective on a matter, because only by doing so then he believes that the best way out will show itself up.
Granted with no privilege shaped Akio to be strong-willed. The thought of having no second choice doesn’t only make him determined but also daring to the point of recklessness, as he often times thinks that he can’t afford to lose his single-shot.
Growing up in a surrounding that requires him to make use of any available opportunities caused Akio to be everything but sincere. To open up, trust someone, and forms a genuine connection with people is such a foreign concept. He might show an attitude of a best friend, but what he’s most ready to do is dump your body in the next river. Any kind of attachment is avoided—except with his lover, of course; he doesn’t feel the need of anyone else so long she’s by his side. Still, he considers that having as many allies as possible is favorable.
Akio thinks abiding by the rules is foolish. The world is filled with those who care only about getting what they want, so anyone who doesn’t adapt is just like asking to be trampeled over. He, knowing how it’s like to be treated as a trash of course doesn’t need a second experience. He too, became one of those who care only about getting what they want.
His curse, although lifted, remains with him until his death. The spirit who was once uncontrollable now acts as a guardian that ensures no (physical) harm comes his way. It lives within his body, who sees and speaks the way a human is able to. Except its field of vision is 360° and only Akio can hear its voice.
With the spirit and Akio becoming one, he doesn’t have a blind spot. The spirit will notify him of all signs of danger from any direction so that he can act accordingly. Akio doesn’t have an exellence in terms of combat, but when necessary, he will shapeshift into the spirit’s true form.

A three meters tall smoke with eyes, upper pairs of limbs, and claws.
- “Can’t be harmed” as it would only be like attempting to inflict injury to smoke/wind.
- Can engulf a person and make them disappear without a trace, as if they enter a fog and be swallowed in it.
- As the writer I’m still thinking of its weak points.
