Do you know one product that is guaranteed to sell? Yes, it’s solution. It doesn’t matter how flashy your offer is, if it doesn’t solve or answer anyone’s problem, then it weighs no value. I knew this, and I knew as well that this is how I would be needed.
Everyone in her world used to look so big. Even she, who was—and is still—shorter than me seemed so. Of course I expect no less from a home that nurtures the hands of God. The thing is, I need to secure my spot within the circle, because disposing me would be as easy as stepping on an ant.
I could only afford to go for the extra miles. Often times, not even Yori got shared the details about what happened in the company as she hasn’t yet officially became a part of it, so I learned the art of infiltration and theft. There wasn’t really anyone in my aid so everything depended on myself. From there, it was revealed to me that I, more or less, ride the thrill.
I learned, studied what I hadn’t yet known. And combined with what’s already within my scope of knowledge (as I studied law in the university using scholarship funds), I looked for the gaps that can always be found by the thorough, then sold that exit route to get the company out of the crisis they faced.
My first visit to the company of course surprised them, as they already framed my face as “the one who clings to Yori”. Nowhere in their wildest imagination they see me pass through their door bearing what I had to offer, I guess. I remembered the way their eyebrows raised, the suspicion and guarded stance in their voice, along with the concern of going down the path they have never gone through. However, desperate times call for desperate measures. The solution I brought eventually appealed their rationality.
That way, I began making them dependent of me.
